Background
Dr Benjamin Loh is passionate about providing the very best care for his patients. Having worked in numerous private and public clinics across Singapore, Dr Ben was struck by the often-clinical nature of patient care and set out to create a new style of medical practice - one that put patients’ needs, concerns and wellbeing first! And so, Dr Ben Medical was founded!
Dr Ben is a General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Monash, Melbourne with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and subsequently obtained his Postgraduate qualifications from the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) in the United Kingdom.
Areas of interest
Dr Ben has a multi-disciplinary background, having served in both private and public hospitals covering Family Medicine, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), and Venereology, however he has developed a keen interest in Men’s Health, Dermatology, and ENT.
This interest led Dr Ben to obtain a Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in England where he participated in several ENT foundation courses. Additionally, Dr Ben has participated at several international ENT conferences and is well-versed with a variety of ENT procedures such as aural toileting and flexible nasoendoscopy.
After leaving public service, Dr Ben joined DTAP clinic where he helmed the branch @Raffles Place and developed the clinic’s ENT services with a focus on aural procedures like micro-suction.
Dr Ben also has a keen interest in dermatology, having worked at the National Skin Centre Singapore. This experience working with a number of dermatology-related issues such as pigmentation, eczema, and acne led Dr Ben to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology with the University of Cardiff.
In addition to this, he also continued to develop and hone his interest and expertise in Men’s Health, Sexual Health, and Allergy.

Owing to his personable nature and experience, Dr Ben has appeared in various media features in Singapore, including leading news publications The Straits Times, Channel News Asia and other radio channels.
